The rules for using Character Continuity: who may use it, what credits and Continuity+ cost, what you may make, and the real-faces rule.
1. Who we are
Character Continuity (the platform at app.charactercontinuity.com and this website) is run by RKane Media LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and RKane Media LLC. By making an account or using Character Continuity, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. Who may use it
You must be 18 or older to make an account or use Character Continuity. When you make an account you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
3. Your account
- Use a real email address you can receive mail at. One person per account.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at support@charactercontinuity.com right away.
4. Credits
Making images and videos, and some other features, uses credits. A free account costs nothing and lets you look around, fill in a character sheet and watch the tutorials; making anything uses credits.
- Credits are sold in packs from $10 for 1,000 credits, at the same rate of 1 credit = 1 cent in every pack up to $100.
- New images start at 6 credits (face swaps and upscales at 2), five-second videos at 46 credits, and Analyze, which comes with Continuity+, costs 200 credits a run. The platform shows what an action costs before you use it. Prices can change; a change never alters the credits already in your account.
- Credits do not expire. They have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred to another account.
- If a job fails on our side, we return the credits it took.
- If your account was made with Login with Fanvue, you buy credits through Fanvue, and Fanvue charges you: 750 credits for $10.00, 1,900 for $25.00, 3,900 for $50.00 and 8,000 for $100.00.
5. Continuity+
- Continuity+ is $50 a month, plus applicable tax, added at checkout. It renews each month until you cancel.
- Each paid month adds 1,000 credits to your account. Those credits do not expire either, and they stay in your account if you cancel.
- Continuity+ includes Smart Prompt, the Lifestyle studio (Home and Day in the Life), Analyze and Prompt Controls, for as long as it is active. Each Analyze still costs 200 credits.
- Cancel anytime from the account menu. Continuity+ stays on until the end of the month you have paid for, then stops; you are not charged again.
- If the price changes, we will tell you before your next renewal, and the new price applies only from the renewal after that notice.
- Through Fanvue, Continuity+ is $60.00 a month and Continuity+2 is $84.00 a month, billed by Fanvue. Change or cancel your plan in your Fanvue account.
6. Continuity+2
- Continuity+2 is everything in Continuity+, with 4 characters instead of 2. It's $70 a month, plus applicable tax, added at checkout, and renews each month until you cancel.
- If you move from Continuity+ to Continuity+2, you pay the difference for the rest of your billing month, and your renewal date stays the same.
- If your plan ends, your newest characters lock until you're back. Nothing is deleted.
7. Payments and refunds
- Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Taxes may apply where you live.
- Refunds are handled through support. If something went wrong with a purchase, email support@charactercontinuity.com from your account's email address and tell us what happened.
- Disputes. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card company instead of asking us for a refund, we pause spending on your account while the dispute is open. If the dispute is decided in your favor, the credits from that purchase are removed from your account. An account with three disputes decided this way is closed. Please write to support first; we'd rather fix it.
- Payments made through Fanvue are refunded through Fanvue. If a Fanvue payment is charged back, the credits from it are removed from your account, and it counts toward the three disputes above.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Character Continuity to:
- make, upload or share anything illegal, or anything that sexualizes a minor in any way;
- harass, threaten, defame or bully anyone, or make intimate or sexual images of a real person without their consent;
- pass off what you make as a real person's words or actions in order to deceive, defraud or harm;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
- break, overload, probe or get around the security, limits or payments of the service, or scrape it, resell access to it or use it to build a competing service.
9. The real-faces rule
- Only use a real person's face if it is your own face, or the face of a person who has given you documented consent to use it this way. Keep that consent; we may ask to see it.
- Never upload, or try to make, an image or video of anyone under 18 or anyone who resembles a minor.
- This rule applies everywhere in Character Continuity, including Face Swap, Video Body Swap and Character Swap.
- Removal requests. Anyone can ask us to remove an image or video that shows them, or a person they act for, made or shared without consent, including intimate or sexual images and AI-made fakes. You do not need an account. Email support@charactercontinuity.com with "Removal request" in the subject line, and include:
- what the image or video is, and where you saw it;
- that it shows you, or the person you act for, and was made or shared without consent;
- your name and how to reach you;
- your signature (typing your full name counts).
- If your account was made with Login with Fanvue, we ask you once to confirm that anything you make on the platform showing a real, identifiable person is made with that person's consent.
- Accounts that break this rule are closed. We may also remove the content and report it to the authorities where the law requires.
10. AI-generated content and labeling
- Everything Character Continuity makes is generated by AI models. Results can be inaccurate or unexpected; check them before you use them.
- When you share an AI-generated image or video, label it as AI-generated wherever a platform's rules or the law require it. Never present it as a real photo or recording of a real event, and do not remove a label a platform has added.
- You are responsible for what you make and how you share it.
11. What you make, and what you upload
- You keep ownership of what you upload. As between you and us, you own the images and videos you make, to the extent the law allows (AI-generated work may not be protected by copyright everywhere).
- You let us store, process and show your uploads and results only to run Character Continuity for you, including sending them to the services listed in our Privacy Policy that generate them.
- We own Character Continuity itself: the platform, this website, the name, the software and its design.
12. Ending your account
- You can stop using Character Continuity at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@charactercontinuity.com.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. An account that breaks the real-faces rule is closed.
- Credits are not refunded when an account is closed for breaking these terms.
13. Disclaimers and limits
Character Continuity is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will always be available, error free, or that results will meet your needs. To the fullest extent the law allows, RKane Media LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to defend and cover RKane Media LLC against any claim, loss or cost (including reasonable legal fees) that comes from what you upload or make, how you share it, or your breaking these terms or someone else's rights.
Character Continuity relies on outside services, including the AI models listed in our Privacy Policy. We may add, change or remove features and models at any time, and an outside service may change, slow down or stop. We are not responsible for an outside service's outages or changes. If a change removes something you paid for in advance, we will make it right with credits.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When a change matters, we will tell you on the platform or by email before it takes effect. Using Character Continuity after that means you accept the new terms.
15. Florida law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you and RKane Media LLC agree to those courts.
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and RKane Media LLC about Character Continuity. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't given it up.
16. Copyright notices
If you believe something on Character Continuity infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent: RKane Media LLC, 12940 SW 128th St, Suite 201, Miami, FL 33186, (786) 505-9323, support@charactercontinuity.com. Include:
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- the work you say is infringed;
- where the material is on Character Continuity, in enough detail for us to find it;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
If we remove material because of a notice, the person who uploaded it can send a counter-notice to the same address. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
17. Fanvue
You can sign in with your Fanvue account, and send images and videos you make here to your Fanvue vault. What you post on Fanvue is your responsibility, and Fanvue's own rules apply there. Character Continuity is not run by Fanvue.
